Not before time

A cracking day on patch today with a good variety of migrants, some new some old. Pride of place on the bird front went to well overdue patch tick, an immaculate male Black Redstart. Unfortunately after letting the others know i couldn't bloody relocate it, hopefully it will still be around. 3 Goldcrest were also new in as was a Song Thrush, the rest was made up of 2 Chiffchaff (including 1 in the garden), 6 Chaffinch (including a female in the garden for the past couple of days), 2 Robin and a Dunnock. Fine weather forecast tomorrow so hopefully more of the same?

As if i didn't have enough Otter action on Tuesday, managed to get myself into position (luckily) for this beauty as it surfaced from the sea after a feed. Probably about 2 metres away at most i had to take all the photos on 100mm. Simply stunning creatures that i just cant get enough of.
