A good haul

With the weather people saying the rain would hold off until at least lunchtime i decided to have the morning 'gull watching' on Richmond Bank, and a good decision it turned out to be. Noteable sightings included 1w Glaucous Gull, 4 Iceland Gulls (2w&3juv), 2 Med Gulls (ad&2w) and 5 Yellow-legged Gulls (4ad&3w). Again not a hint of a Caspian Gull, they must be there somewhere. From there visited Houghton Green Flash for 2 Black-necked Grebes on their spring stop off, nice birds just a shame they are always distant.

Saw this first off this morning, 2nd summer Herring Gull ?
