My migrant free days came to end today, thank god. First up was a check of Brough which produced a Willow Warbler sporting a shiny ring. Next stop was Skaw and my first Barred Warbler of the autumn in the plantation, showing quite well when my camera wasn't pointing in its direction! A Reed Warbler was also present showing on occasions. Also a couple of Willow Warblers were around the trap field. A check of the Houb was rewarded with 2 very showy Knot, but sadly not much else. May get out after diner, if not will be out pretty much all day tomorrow in the forecast easterlies hoping for some goodies ?
