Knot 1, Knot 2 but 3

Another day on the roof so not really much time to check patch, not that i am too worried. Brisk SW'rly winds are making sure Brough remains a migrant free zone. When i did get out this evening i concentrated on checking the waders down at the Houb, like every day. Highlight was 3 Knot, why is it you wait for an age to get one, then all you do is see them ? Dunlin and Redshank were a dozen a piece, 40+ Ringed Plover, 30+ Turnstone, 2 Curlew and the erratic Grey Heron was back.
