Today was the day ?

The big move up north went according to plan,  arriving in Lerwick this morning to glorious blue skies. That didn't last too long though as the clouds rolled in around lunch time along with the wind, i suppose that is something i am going to have to get used to. Bird wise a quick look at the Catch produced a 1w Iceland Gull, a Wood Pigeon in Lerwick was a Shetland tick as were 2 Red Grouse that flew across the Isles road on our way to Laxo. Another 1w Iceland Gull this time at Symbister harbour was present as our ferry rolled in. Around the house lots of Skylarks and a few Meadow Pipits, hopefully get around the patch tomorrow for a proper look.
