Musical Crows

A good day on patch with a very welcome drop in the wind speed. The 6 Mealy Redpolls persistently remain as does the Lesser Whitethroat, the Collared Dove made a brief appearance again and 2 Siskins were a new patch tick. The Carrion Crow remained and was at first joined by a rather tatty Jackdaw, another patch tick, but later there was no sign of the Jackdaw and another Carrion Crow had appeared. A Whimbrel was around first thing then another this evening, a Merlin made an appearance over the Houb as did 3 Arctic Terns, the first for the year and a single Arctic Skua did its best to upset the calm
